Boa Bedside Table

The bedside table, encourages an attitude of play through touch. The table’s straight forward design and clean lines are part of a small collection that includes a version as a case that hangs on the wall, and a sideboard. The feather boa teases with a sensuality appropriate for the bedroom.

Chair, Chair

Can you find all the letters that spell the word chair? This work brings together two-dimensional and three dimensional form and bridges my former discipline of graphic design and my current work with furniture forms and new technologies. The work was created using industrial water jet cutting technologies and hand tooling. There are six components that come apart so they can be packed for flat shipping. The chair uses the typeface Neutra, designed by architect Richard Neutra for signage in his commisions, I use it here as the basis for its form.
